About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Revenue Integrity Charge Reconciliation Analyst to join their Charge Reconciliation team at Baptist Southbank. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity. The analyst will support Charge Advocates by attending monthly workshops, rounding with departments, and visiting assigned campuses. Responsibilities include running audit reports, communicating with non-compliant departments, and assisting with report building. The role focuses on managing charge capture initiatives, identifying root causes of revenue issues, developing corrective action plans, and providing education on changes impacting charge reconciliation in clinical departments.

Requirements

• 3-5 Years Experience with CPT/HCPCS Codes or Charging Required
• 3-5 Years Coding Experience Required
• 1-2 years Experience with Charge Validation Reviews Required
• High School Diploma Required

• Epic HB/PB Revenue Integrity Experience Preferred
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) Preferred
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Preferred
• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Preferred
• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) Preferred
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Preferred

Responsibilities

• Managing, coordinating, and implementing charge capture initiatives and processes to improve revenue management and revenue protection.
• Discover the root cause of revenue issues and develop corrective action plans and provide education on those plans to any relevant changes that impact charge reconciliation in the clinical departments (regulatory, policy, payor related, etc.).
• Working closely with assigned departments and ensuring work queues are being addressed and offering support, guidance, and education as needed.
• Attending monthly workshops and rounding with assigned departments and visiting their assigned campus's.
• Running audit reports, communicating and supporting non-compliant departments and helping build reports.
