Revenue Enablement Manager

Verse Medical•New York, NY
•$135,000 - $160,000•Remote

About The Position

Verse Medical is seeking a Revenue Enablement Manager to lead the learning and development for its commercial team. This role involves creating onboarding programs, developing sales messaging, conducting call coaching, and certifying sales representatives. It is a hands-on individual contributor position where 'Manager' refers to the scope of the function. The company sells to health systems, discharge planners, case managers, and post-acute partners, focusing on clinical outcomes and reliability. This is the first dedicated enablement hire, intended to build the foundation for a larger future function. Success will be measured by faster rep ramp times, increased quota attainment, and consistent pitch delivery.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of combined experience in sales and sales enablement.
  • Experience carrying a sales number or coaching reps who do, earning their respect.
  • Proven ownership of a ramp program from end to end, demonstrating accountability for outcomes rather than just session delivery.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage programs across sales, marketing, product, and clinical operations without direct authority.
  • Willingness to learn and become proficient in a clinical domain, even when initially uncomfortable.
  • Proficiency with Gong or a comparable call recording platform, with a clear understanding of effective call metrics.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting to identify deal bottlenecks and inform training development.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in daily work, with examples of successful application and limitations.
  • Experience with Notion or a comparable knowledge system and the discipline to maintain a single source of truth.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Ability to provide direct, specific, and constructive feedback to sales reps.
  • A bias for shipping usable first versions quickly over pursuing perfection in later iterations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, DME, home health, or post-acute care, particularly enabling teams selling to clinical and operational buyers within health systems.
  • Experience enabling teams that sell to both providers and payors, where economic buyers and end-users differ.
  • Experience building or configuring AI assistants, agents, or custom GPTs, with insights into their effectiveness and limitations.
  • First-in-seat experience building an enablement function from scratch with limited resources.
  • Familiarity with formal sales methodologies like MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or Challenger.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run onboarding for all commercial roles, covering product, market, clinical vocabulary, systems, and the sales pitch, with a primary focus on time-to-first-deal.
  • Develop and maintain the core sales narrative, discovery framework, objection responses, and competitive positioning, ensuring a single source of truth in Notion.
  • Partner with Sales Managers to reinforce training, providing them with usable call rubrics, scorecards, and coaching guides, and participating in team meetings and 1:1s.
  • Conduct regular working sessions with Sales Managers to identify field gaps and prioritize the enablement roadmap based on their input.
  • Lead weekly call reviews using Gong, scoring calls against a defined rubric and providing specific, actionable coaching to individual reps, leveraging AI to identify objection and loss patterns.
  • Define and enforce a qualification framework and stage exit criteria in collaboration with Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, and Sales Managers.
  • Translate the complexities of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) operations into training that enables reps to engage in meaningful conversations.
  • Collaborate with product and product marketing teams to ensure successful launches of new capabilities with appropriate positioning, talk tracks, and practiced demos.
  • Assist Sales Management with pitch certifications, role-plays, and refresher training, and manage content retirement.
  • Own and manage the content library, Gong scorecards, and AI tooling for sales prep, driving adoption and teaching reps how to verify information.
  • Utilize AI to expedite the creation of sales assets like briefs, talk tracks, and summaries, reducing creation time and applying judgment for accuracy.

Benefits

  • Competitive benefits
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Culture that prioritizes work-life balance
  • Continuous improvement
