About The Position

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is seeking a Revenue Cycle Service Coordinator for the Predoctoral Student Clinics. The Predoctoral Clinics are an important part of the health care delivery system ensuring optimal health care experience for our dental patients and students. The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is the fourth largest public dental school in the United States and it is the only public dental school in Ohio. The college is divided into ten divisions with all major ADA-recognized dental specialties represented. The College has approximately 600 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs. The Predoctoral Revenue Cycle Services Coordinator is an integral member of the College of Dentistry care teams. Overall responsibilities include patient scheduling, taking incoming patient calls, patient registration, verifying accuracy and completeness of forms, coordinating with and disseminating information to the patient care team. Answers questions and provides accurate information about services and College information; works in a team environment supporting and providing backup coverage as necessary; maintains a high degree of professionalism with all patients and teammates. This position may include weekends and evening work.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of relevant experience
  • This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check and drug and alcohol screening
  • Candidate must be able to push / pull carts containing office supplies, bend / stretch / twist to pick up supplies, maintain office appearance, stand and walk for periods of time serving and assisting customers

Nice To Haves
