This opportunity is for a Revenue Cycle Manager in our Rochelle Park, NJ offices. The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for managing the overall functions of Revenue Cycle for Curalta Health LLC. Responsible for maximization of revenue and cash flow. This includes oversight of all the revenue cycle from the initial billing, coding, follow-up, appeals through the collections process. Responsible for maximizing revenue and ensuring timely billing, steady cash flow. Lead teams to analyze and maintain key performance metrics, resolve denial and rejections, establish escalation protocols, maintain payer portals, provide direction for the team, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business preferred or a combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Revenue Cycle experience, healthcare, or medical office supervisory experience required
  • Experienced with insurance company operating procedures, regulations, and billing requirements required
  • Experience with computer accounting programs, spreadsheets, and applications required
  • Experience with medical terminology and coding required
  • Experienced with facility credentialling and managed care contracting required
  • Experience with billing software required Modernizing Medicine experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Knowledge of current medical terminology to communicate with staff and patients
  • Time Management & excellent organization are very important for this position
  • Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Work & Excel to use daily) e-mail systems, and web-based programs
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, organize, troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Excellent time management skills and multitasking skills
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter and ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

  • Experience with Podiatry billing a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end revenue cycle, including insurance verification, coding and claim submissions
  • Responding to all patients, doctors, and field staff inquiries in a timely manner via various channels (phone or email)
  • Serves as a point of contact for resolving issues by troubleshooting problems, handling complaints, and finding an effective resolution
  • Analyze denials, identify trends, implement strategies to reduce, fix and prevent denials
  • Monitor metrics such as Days in AR, collection rates, coding errors and reporting to leadership
  • Supervise, train, mentor staff to improve efficiency and accuracy and evaluate performance of employees
  • Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations (including Medicare and Medicaid) and develop internal policies for billing accuracy
  • Completes annual performance reviews for direct report employees
  • Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management systems (Modern Medicine)
  • Assist VP of Revenue Cycle in various projects and responsibilities as needed
  • Apply DRH Standards of Behavioral and exhibit behavior consistent with DRH core values
  • Other special projects as assigned
