About The Position

Whole Family Health Center (WFHC) is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager (RCM) to lead and strengthen its revenue cycle operations. WFHC has served Florida's Treasure Coast for over 25 years, offering integrated healthcare services including Adult & Pediatric Primary Care, Behavioral Health, Complete Women's Health, and Pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be a leader who understands the interconnectedness of the revenue cycle process and can unite people, processes, and data to achieve significant results.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 7–10 years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience.
  • Leadership and team development experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing, collections, reimbursement, and denial management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with clinical, operational, financial, and executive leadership.
  • Ability to successfully complete required Level 2 background clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Athena or similar healthcare systems.
  • FQHC experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Creole.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight across the revenue cycle, working closely with clinical, operational, and financial leadership.
  • Lead revenue cycle operations, including billing, collections, payment posting, denial management, and reimbursement.
  • Drive strategies to improve cash flow, reduce denials, and strengthen overall revenue cycle performance.
  • Monitor and act on key performance indicators such as clean claim rate, days in A/R, denial rate, net collection rate, write-off rate, and collection performance.
  • Lead denial management efforts, identify root causes, and develop strategies to address aged accounts.
  • Ensure claims are submitted accurately and timely in accordance with payer-specific requirements, modifiers, and guidelines.
  • Partner with Revenue Systems, Practice Management, Finance, and other departments to identify trends and improve workflows.
  • Collaborate with Front Desk and Call Center leadership to improve registration accuracy and prevent front-end issues from becoming billing problems.
  • Develop training and process improvements based on operational trends and performance data.
  • Support audit readiness and maintain strong documentation standards.
  • Recruit, train, coach, develop, and evaluate Revenue Cycle Billing & Operations staff.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee development.
  • Ensure revenue cycle operations remain compliant with applicable federal, state, CMS, AHCA, HRSA, and payer requirements.
