Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist
About The Position
The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist supports the full revenue cycle process to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant billing, collections, and reimbursement for clinical services. The role helps maintain the organization’s financial integrity through claim preparation and submission, follow-up, payment posting, denial management, and account resolution, in accordance with federal, state, payer, and organizational guidelines. The specialist works collaboratively with clinical, registration, coding, credentialing, and finance teams to optimize revenue performance, reduce accounts receivable, prevent revenue leakage, and ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of healthcare billing regulations, payer contracts, and reimbursement methodologies.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in business management or a related field.
- 2–5 years of comparable work experience.
