About The Position

Sailor Health is seeking its first Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Associate to own and scale revenue cycle operations. This role is based in New York City and requires a 5-day-a-week in-office presence. The Associate will be the business owner and quarterback for RCM, collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams. The company has a strong foundation with top-tier RCM KPIs and has invested in an AI-native RCM stack. The role involves working closely with co-founders and cross-functional teams, with an emphasis on hands-on work including writing SQL, building internal tools, and making high-leverage decisions. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, either leading or being part of an RCM team at a digital health company, or an operator role at a tech-enabled RCM company.
  • Strong product, consulting, or banking candidates are also a fit.

Nice To Haves

  • Medicare / Medicare Advantage experience is a strong plus.
  • SQL experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Own RCM end-to-end, including KPIs and the health of the function, sustaining top 5% outcomes, and growing the RCM team. Key metrics include net collection rate, touchless claim rates, denial rates, days in AR, and cost to collect.
  • Serve as the product manager for the AI-native RCM, partnering with engineers to develop and ship RCM products, co-authoring the roadmap.
  • Design and scale AI-native workflows across claims management, denial resolution, QA, reconciliation, payment posting, and payer operations.
  • Build real-time RCM reporting, including dashboards, reporting infrastructure, and operational visibility for the team.
  • Identify reimbursement leakage, process bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
  • Drive revenue operations, including credentialing, enrollment, fee schedule integrity, and operational aspects of payer relationships in partnership with Payer Growth.
  • Ensure a best-in-class patient billing and payment experience, extending the company's 5-star patient experience to billing.
