Requirements

  • Associates degree from a nationally accredited school PLUS six (6) years of Healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience in area relevant to assigned area (Patient Access, Business Office, or Physician Practice) OR Bachelor's degree from a nationally accredited university PLUS four (4) years of Healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience in area relevant to assigned area (Patient Access, Business Office, or Physician Practice)
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; must score in high range on pre-screening communication skills aptitude assessment. Minimum score of 71%
  • Demonstrated and highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Word, Excel, and Outlook) or equivalent; must score in high range on pre-screening MS Office skills aptitude assessment - minimum score of 71%

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Education, or related field
  • Healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience in area relevant to assigned area (Patient Access, Business Office, or Physician Practice)
  • CHA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate) or CPAR (Certified Patient Access Representative)
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Working knowledge of HL7
  • Evidence of the ability to work well with others - a team player
  • Ability to organize and implement various programs

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, support, and work directly on the revenue cycle activities related to onboarding and ongoing support of Revenue Cycle Operations for outpatient ancillary and ambulatory sites.
  • Work closely with the Business Office, Patient Access, Physician Practice Leadership, and Clinical Leadership to coordinate and integrate front office workflow and activities.
  • Function successfully in an autonomous role, requiring minimal supervisory oversight.
  • Lead groups of fellow team members in project management roles.
  • Maintain a high level of personal accountability for job performance.
