About The Position

MPOWERHealth is seeking motivated individuals to join their Revenue Cycle team as Revenue Cycle Associates (RCA). This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to join a fast-growing medical billing organization. The RCA will gain exposure in billing, collections, appeals, data entry, phone calls, inquiries, and other functions as assigned by the Revenue Cycle Supervisor and/or Manager. Comprehensive training is provided, making extensive healthcare experience unnecessary.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input patient information into various systems.
  • File, scan, fax, and process critical documents.
  • Communicate with patients, providers, and insurers through calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
  • Monitor, direct, and process incoming faxes and voicemails.
  • Follow up on unpaid claims, post payments, and process Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
  • Verify insurance coverage to ensure patients have the necessary coverage.
  • Serve as the primary contact for patient inquiries and concerns, delivering outstanding customer service.
