About The Position

In accordance with established procedures, the Revenue Auditor completes daily revenue audits, tracks and reports variances, and completes required audit forms. This role involves performing daily audits on electronic gaming devices, cage accountability, live games, and redemption kiosks. The Revenue Auditor will summarize, calculate, and record numbers on various documents, review and reconcile documents for proper completion, and investigate any discrepancies or variances identified. Additionally, the Revenue Auditor will review and post revenues and expenses, ensure proper authorization and account recording, and complete Audit Finding Reports on deviations from procedures. This position also involves maintaining credit card terminal reports, reporting daily revenues from all outlets, maintaining POS reports and inventory accounts, and preparing monthly journal entries. The Revenue Auditor will assist in maintaining compliance with the Internal Control System and perform duties related to the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily revenue audits in accordance with established procedures.
• Tracks and reports variances.
• Completes required audit forms.
• Performs daily audits on electronic gaming devices, cage accountability, live games, and redemption kiosks.
• Summarizes, calculates, and records numbers on various documents.
• Reviews, reconciles, and verifies documents for proper completion.
• Investigates any discrepancies and variances identified while performing audits and issues exception reports.
• Reviews and accurately posts revenues and expenses pertaining to audits.
• Ensures that all revenues/expenses are supported by properly authorized documentation and recorded to the proper account.
• Completes Audit Finding Reports on all deviations from procedures and/or ICS found in daily audits.
• Maintains credit card terminal reports and statements at the outlets.
• Reports and maintains daily revenues from all outlets.
• Maintains POS reports.
• Maintains all inventory accounts.
• Prepares and submits monthly journal entries.
• Assists in maintaining compliance with the Internal Control System.
• Performs the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers Casino – Des Plaines ICS.
• Other duties may be assigned.
