About The Position

This is a non-supervisory position responsible for performing daily audits of gaming and non-gaming revenues. The role involves working both independently and as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met daily, weekly, and monthly. The Revenue Auditor will track and investigate all revenue variances, assist the Revenue Audit Manager with daily tasks including audit exception reports, and respond to requests from other departments. Key duties include performing weekly meter comparisons, preparing information for monthly journal entries, and assisting in maintaining the Internal Controls System. Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and deadlines is essential, as is meeting department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements. The position requires compliance with regulatory, department, and company policies, and all job duties must be performed safely and responsibly.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Must be proficient in ALL Microsoft applications.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Must be able to efficiently and accurately count money and gaming chips and make a change.
  • Possess the ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Team members must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the hotel/casino industry a plus.
  • Written communication skills in English may also be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
  • Perform daily audits of gaming and non-gaming revenues.
  • Perform as a team or individually to ensure deadlines are met daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
  • Track and investigate all variances daily.
  • Assist Manager with daily tasks, including the audit exception reports, the tracking of audit exception reports, and other required property reporting.
  • Respond to requests from other departments.
  • Perform weekly meter comparisons of the games to the accounting system.
  • Prepare information required for monthly journal entries.
  • Assist in maintaining the Internal Controls System.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all deadlines for departmental and company projects and assignment requirements.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements.
  • Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.
