About The Position

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue & Cost Analyst to join our Accounting/Finance team. In this role, you’ll go beyond the numbers—helping the business understand what’s driving performance, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and partnering across departments to improve results. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into data, solving problems, and owning processes from start to finish.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) and experience working with large datasets
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and clearly explain results
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in systems and process optimization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Great Plains) and reporting tools
  • Exposure to revenue recognition, cost accounting, or contract-based analysis
  • Interest in growing into a broader FP&A or Financial Analyst role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze revenue and cost (COGS) performance, identifying and explaining variances vs. budget and prior periods
  • Serve as a key check-and-balance across departments, ensuring financial results align with contract terms and operational activity
  • Partner with Accounting during the monthly close process to ensure accuracy and completeness of financials
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of key customers, contracts, and business drivers
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities through data analysis and reporting
  • Develop and improve financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recommend process improvements
  • Leverage systems (ERP and reporting tools) to automate and streamline workflows
  • Support additional financial analysis, modeling, and reporting initiatives as you grow in the role
