EverCommerce - Revenue Accounting Manager (Hybrid, Denver CO)
About The Position
EverCommerce is seeking a Manager of Revenue Accounting to oversee the revenue accounting process. This includes managing the month-end close, developing accounting conclusions for revenue recognition (ASC 606) based on business operations, and handling ad hoc revenue accounting projects for specific software solutions. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to collaborate with senior management. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities, and can effectively communicate complex financial information to various levels within the organization. They should be detail-oriented, take ownership of their work, and be able to self-correct when needed.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years of accounting experience
- BS/BA degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
- 1-3 years of public accounting experience with strong revenue recognition acumen
- Strong understanding of month-end and year-end close processes
- Strong organizational, project management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail, writing and communication skills
- Strong interest in learning and developing additional skills and expertise in multiple areas of operational and technical accounting
- Must be eligible to work without sponsorship
- May require occasional travel to Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations within the United States.

Responsibilities
- Onboard acquired companies to US GAAP revenue recognition
- Implement and maintain the Company’s revenue recognition policies identifying operational expedients where possible
- Manage 1 direct report with opportunity to grow team through acquisition of additional businesses
- Assist EverCommerce team in implementation of best-in-class billing and revenue recognition systems, consolidating current systems where deemed necessary
- Maintain data integrity of revenue and billings for yearly financial statement audit
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue schedules for our accounting close process, including SoX controls
- Additional ad-hoc projects as needed
