About The Position

Momnt is an expanding financial technology company specializing in embedded lending and point-of-need consumer financing based in Sandy Springs, GA. We are transforming how merchants provide financing to their customers with our state-of-the-art embedded lending platform. Our platform delivers a seamless digital experience that makes financing simple, fast, and affordable, connecting high-quality lenders with merchants, primarily in the home improvement sector, to empower consumers to pay for the things they need. Momnt is looking for a Revenue Accountant to join our finance team! This role will involve data reconciliation, participation in compliance, and reviewing schedules reporting processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience reconciling bank to transactional data, investigating discrepancies, and solving problems.

Requirements

BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
5+ years of professional experience.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Experience with account reconciliation.
The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills.
Excellent documentation skills.
Strong Excel and Word skills (Excel VBA, pivot tables, mail merge, etc.)

Nice To Haves

Experience with loan servicing environments a strong plus

Responsibilities

Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies between cash and transactional data
Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls
Organize and review various financial data, then report it in a manner that is useful and understandable.
Monitor cash flow across payment processors, bank accounts, and servicing platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness
Partner with servicing teams to resolve reconciliation exceptions and ticket escalations
Prepares ad hoc reports on a routine basis.
Performs other duties as assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.
