About The Position
Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for a “Revenue Accountant” based out of Milpitas, CA. This is a long-term contract position with the possibility of full-time conversion. The position summary highlights the need for a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to support revenue accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ASC 606, U.S. GAAP, and have experience with ERP systems in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting or public accounting experience.
- Knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is preferred.
- Big 4 or public accounting experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and revenue reports.
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606, U.S. GAAP, and SOX controls.
- Support ERP system enhancements, testing, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
