Jordan Valley Health is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Accountant to join its finance team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in revenue accounting, preferably within a corporate environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards such as ASC 606 or IFRS 15
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proof of vaccination for Hepatitis B and Tuberculosis (TB)

Responsibilities

  • Record and analyze revenue transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
  • Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition, including complex fee-for-service, wrap services, capitation, cost reporting, non-patient-related revenue and grant terms
  • Capture entries for multiple subsidiaries
  • Reconcile revenue accounts and prepare supporting documentation for claims, audits and internal reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as revenue cycle, grants, and finance to ensure proper revenue recognition
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to revenue
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and industry best practices
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to revenue accounting
