Jordan Valley Health is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Accountant to join its finance team. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in revenue accounting, preferably within a corporate environment
Strong understanding of accounting standards such as ASC 606 or IFRS 15
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proof of vaccination for Hepatitis B and Tuberculosis (TB)

Responsibilities

Record and analyze revenue transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition, including complex fee-for-service, wrap services, capitation, cost reporting, non-patient-related revenue and grant terms
Capture entries for multiple subsidiaries
Reconcile revenue accounts and prepare supporting documentation for claims, audits and internal reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as revenue cycle, grants, and finance to ensure proper revenue recognition
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to revenue
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and industry best practices
Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to revenue accounting
