About The Position

The Return Specialist assumes all responsibilities related to returns/reverse logistics. Return Specialist engage in equipment testing, repackaging, and coordinating with inventory management. Return Specialists are responsible for processing and recording returns and updating customer accounts in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with inventory or data tracking systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and document all incoming and processed returns.
• Open, inspect, and assess each return for damage, completeness, and warranty eligibility.
• Test returned equipment to confirm functionality and customer-reported issues.
• Record and update item details in the inventory management software.
• Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate material reconciliation.
• Coordinate warranty claims and replacements with manufacturers.
• Partner with third-party vendors to maintain quality control and consistent production flow.
• Manage the collection, storage, and shipment of obsolete or defective equipment for responsible recycling.
