About The Position

The Returns Representative is responsible for processing and completing returns, warranty, and repair of products. You are responsible for providing quality services and solutions to our internal and external clients while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 2+ years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Strong numerical ability and basic accounting skills.
  • Proficient with business collaboration tools including MS Office applications, Outlook, vendor software and company specific programs.
  • Strong customer service skills, ability to actively listen to and display empathy for others; demonstrating effective oral and written communication skills with internal and external clients. Displays willingness to achieve the work result required despite challenging situations or personalities.
  • Dedicated to the challenge of helping other people and displays a genuinely positive attitude and excitement for individual work, department, and company.
  • Ability to think clearly and objectively, and to act accordingly. Ability to manage emotions; to stay calm and willing to assist when faced with an unexpected situation.

Responsibilities

  • Process returns by creating RMAs to include issuing call tags and client credits.
  • Process warranty Advance Exchange parts for technicians, including physical and electronic inventory movement and manipulation.
  • Return parts or product to the vendor by creating RTV’s as applicable and process credits received, confirming warranty eligibility as appropriate.
  • Process warranty and non-warranty repairs with vendors, communicate the estimates and lead time to clients and technicians.
  • Facilitate core returns and invoices for unreturned cores.
  • Physical and electronic inventory movement including transfers and adjustments; understanding average cost pools.
  • Handle incoming phone calls on returns ACD line with internal and external clients and vendors.
  • Data entry to include warranty information and yield for product.
  • Process basic damage claims.
  • Assist in creating RMAs for replacement product and issuing call tags in time sensitive situations with client and/or vendor. May include some inventory allocation or correction, replacement invoicing to client and completion of client credits.
  • Actively participate in recurring inventory cycle counts.
  • Actively participate and perform acquisition related activities.
  • Provide back-up to other Returns team members when they are out including becoming cross trained in their areas.
  • Accurately maintain and comply with documentation and administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry process.
  • Attend required company and departmental meetings.
  • Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
