Return to Work Coordinator
About The Position
Working in conjunction with the Corporate Disability Manager, the Return to Work Coordinator will be responsible for the management of ill/injured employees focusing on the development and implementation of rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, return to work plans, and duty to accommodate agreements. This position will also participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of various injury prevention programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sick leave, short-term and long-term disability absences for Cavendish Farms, Cavendish Agri, and Island Gas. The Return to Work Coordinator will also be the site’s Wellness Coordinator.
Requirements
- Experience in managing sick leave, short-term and long-term disability absences.
- Experience in developing and implementing rehabilitation and return to work plans.
- Experience with duty to accommodate agreements.
- Experience in injury prevention programs.
