Job Description: Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, required Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field and experience in hospitality preferred Experience in event coordination preferred Willingness to work shifts that include weekends, early mornings, and or early evenings Ability to provide occasional after-hours guest support Experience with Maestro and/or other hospitality software systems is strongly preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Essential Responsibilities: Monitor and actively assist with the Retreat Center’s guest-facing operations in order to provide a strong guest experience and meet organizational standards. Greet and assist guests, speakers, and vendors during events, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. Assist the Campus Leadership Team and other internal stakeholders with event and hospitality booking, including but not limited to, facility and campus tours, answering guest or prospective client inquiries, etc. Communicate with clients to gather event requirements and preferences. Monitor event flow and troubleshoot any issues in real-time to ensure smooth execution. Ensure all event elements are executed according to plan and timeline. Collect feedback from clients and attendees and provide to the Retreat Center General Manager to prepare post-event reports to identify areas for improvement. Effectively coordinate and partner with the Campus Leadership Team and other internal teams to ensure all event-related and hospitality-related tasks are completed on time. Oversee daily guest-oriented operations to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes. Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly. Monitor guest feedback and communicating feedback with leadership to assist in implementing service improvements. Manage reservations and room assignments. Monitor and reconcile daily financial transactions and reports. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards. Act as a liaison between guests and other hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.). Coordinate with event and sales teams for group bookings and VIP guests. Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders. Ensure proper use and maintenance of guest operations systems (PMS, POS, key card systems). Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT support when necessary. Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures. Monitor lobby and public-guest spaces for security and cleanliness. Compensation: $24.00 an hour Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week, with some evenings and weekends as needed. What’s in it for you?
