About The Position

Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, is seeking a Retreader. This position is responsible for meeting the quality and production levels for production work in the retread plant while adhering to safety and training rules/regulations. Works as part of a team to ensure that sales, unit, quality, and productivity objectives are achieved for assigned retread plant. Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma. Bandag CRTP certification and forklift certified required.
• Must be able to lift 100lbs
• Attention to detail
• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Certified Sullivan Commercial training

Responsibilities

• Perform production work in any one of the workstations of the retread plant (initial inspection, buffer, repairs, builder, chambers, and final inspection).
• Meets quality and production level objectives for assigned production work.
• Deliver quality work on time, every time to the customers to ensure long term growth in sales/service and profits.
• Assist drivers in loading and unloading product utilizing the inventory management system.
• Responsible for the safe operation of equipment and holds required certifications.
• Maintains a safe and clean work area. In compliance with all operation procedures (i.e. OSHA rules, hazardous waste, security system, and filing timely paperwork).
• Assumes other responsibilities as needed
