About The Position

Purcell Tire leading the industry in quality products & service, operational excellence, and people development. As a full-time Retread Technician, your mission is to provide exceptional value during the production of the industry’s highest-quality retreads by performing specific retreading job assignments per company specifications, standards, and time frames.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a background & drug screen
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects
• Ability to work both independently and as a team

Responsibilities

• Commit to continual improvement, training & professional growth
• Inspect tires to be retreaded or repaired
• Work plant station to repair and/or retread tires per specification
• Safely operate plant equipment to buff, skive, repair, envelope, cure tires
• Safely trim, paint, and tag finished tires
• Make final tire repair inspection and place with finished stock
• Ensure work order completion: proper work and identification
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
• Protect company assets (inventory, receivables, equip, and real estate)
• Look for opportunities to improve our products & services
• Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management
