The analyst will assist with internal audits, actuarial valuations, and annual plan audits. A key part of the role is investigating and resolving escalated cases from various stakeholders, including the Pension Administrator and UAW. The analyst will also be responsible for verifying and maintaining records such as credited service, contribution history, and deferred vested eligibility. Additionally, the position supports group legal services, serves on the UAW Pension Board of Administration, and assists with UAW negotiations and international support. Vendor management for the Pension Administrator, pension communications, and administration of Permanent and Total Disability (PTD) retirements are also included. The role requires processing hardship applications, supporting legal compliance with ERISA, IRC, and SOX, and providing backup support for defined contribution payments and special separation programs.
