This Retirement Plan Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative duties to ensure that the Company’s employee retirement benefit plans (401k, 401a, Employee Stock Bonus Plan, defined benefit pension plan, and non-qualified deferred compensation plan) are appropriately managed by the Company. The role actively supports the achievement of company goals and objectives for its retirement plans by performing a variety of higher level accounting and administrative duties and responsibilities. This position collaborates across the company and supports consistent technical practices, adhering to policies, procedures and standards that protect both the company’s assets and employee retirement plans’ assets. It promotes and protects Teichert’s values including diversity, teamwork, fair work environment and respect of others in order to maintain a “team” spirit within the business unit and on project teams; works and cooperates with other disciplines across the Company to ensure maximum and best uses of Teichert resources. The specialist builds and maintains positive working relationships with internal and external customers and reflects a positive impression of the department and Company with external customers through professional interactions, promoting and protecting the community perception of Teichert.
