About The Position

This position serves as a liaison and provides customer service to approximately 70 TRSL-reporting agencies and audit member records for completeness and accuracy to determine eligibility to purchase service credit, transfer or reciprocate, retire, and/or participate in the Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP).

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in employee benefits; OR Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR A bachelor's degree.
  • Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison and provide customer service to approximately 70 TRSL-reporting agencies.
  • Audit member records for completeness and accuracy to determine eligibility to purchase service credit, transfer or reciprocate, retire, and/or participate in the Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP).
  • Process and determine the actuarial cost of full-time corrections and prior year corrections.
