About The Position

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Retention Associate to monitor and review the progress of probationary employees throughout their training. This role will conduct job previews for hourly applicants and assist in identifying training needs by collaborating with leaders. Requirements

  • Ability to communicate and comprehend English.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.
  • Wear required protective equipment in all areas where mandatory.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to communicate in two or more languages is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review the progress of employees through feedback meetings and discussions with supervisors.
  • Identify employee training and development needs within the production department based on feedback.
  • Partner with line leaders and supervisors to solve specific training problems, individually or in groups.
  • Collaborate with HR Coordinator or Recruiter to schedule job previews for hourly applicants.
  • Explain all facets of the position, including physical requirements and environment, during job previews.
  • Instruct employees on exercise activities to improve strength, endurance, and the hardening process within the first three days of employment.
  • Promote employee recognition throughout the production department.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
