About The Position
This is a part-time, seasonal position focused on truck unloading and stocking for the sales floor. The role involves providing friendly customer service, assisting customers with purchases, and ensuring a positive checkout experience. Key responsibilities include unloading deliveries, stocking merchandise, maintaining store recovery standards, and supporting various operational processes. The position requires adherence to company policies and procedures, and a commitment to fostering a positive and respectful work environment. Team members in this role will also be cross-trained in Custom Framing.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Unload deliveries at 3 am on Wednesdays.
- Stock the sales floor with merchandise.
- Provide friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products.
- Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience, including cash handling.
- Engage customers about the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, completing enrollments.
- Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
- Assist with Omni channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go-back process and general store recovery.
- Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
- Support shrink and safety programs.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
- Interact with others respectfully and maintain a positive attitude.
- Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
