RETAIL WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

About The Position
As a Merchandise Processor, you support the processing of newly received stock by carefully sorting, ticketing, and preparing goods so they are ready for sale in stores. You contribute to an efficient distribution process by completing merchandise-processing tasks and preparing goods for store shipment. The work involves standing or walking and lifting and carrying boxes to and from processing lines.
Responsibilities
- Sort and divide merchandise by color, size, and/or style.
- Identify quality and quantity exceptions.
- Ticket merchandise, remove and insert hangers.
- Pack, label, and seal processed merchandise.
- Use a handheld scanning device to send merchandise for store shipment.
- Lift and carry boxes to and from processing lines; use carts and a pallet jack.
- Perform all duties while standing or walking.
