About The Position
Southern Tire Mart is seeking a dedicated Retail Tire Technician to join our team. This role involves the mounting, balancing, rotation, and repair of various tire types, including passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial. The technician will also operate company vehicles safely, manage inventory, and utilize Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS). Adherence to all safety procedures, training guidelines, and company policies is essential. This position offers on-the-job training and opportunities for career growth within a leading North American commercial tire dealership.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older; 21 years or older to drive
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Ability to lift/move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance
- Able to perform repetitive and sustained physical exertions, including bending, lifting, kneeling, and exposure to vibrations
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Overtime maybe required.

- Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required
