About The Position

Service and sell grocery items to retail accounts in assigned market area (Waterloo/Cedar Falls, IA - Mason City, IA) ensuring client standards are met and volume is increased.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, proof of insurance, and acceptable driving record
Must be able to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time
Occasionally lift up to fifty pounds

Two years of full-time sales and/or merchandising work experience preferred

Responsibilities

Sell products from retail booking sheets provided by Managers.
Manage time and priorities to schedule store visits.
Participate in store resets representing our clients based on assigned territories.
Present and maintain full distribution on existing approved SKUs.
Communicate effectively with customers and management.
Implement items to meet client shelf schematic standards.
Take direction from Manager regarding tagging in, rotating, and placing POS materials for products on shelf.
Build rapport with clients and customers. Answer questions and proactively develop plans of action to resolve issues.
Complete accurate and timely reports including weekly recaps, itineraries, expense reports, and web-based reports.
May require some travel and/or overnight stays.
Driving personal vehicle and maintaining clean driving record.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
