About The Position

The Retail Technology Intern will work closely with project management, application development, and support teams on active initiatives affecting our brands' store locations. This role blends hands-on testing, documentation, and project coordination, giving exposure to how retail technology gets built, tested, and rolled out across URBN's brands. Along the way, the intern will build cross-functional partnerships across teams and gain a broader understanding of how retail operations function across URBN's brand portfolio. Summer Internship Program Application Process: Apply to one (1) internship posting that best aligns with your interests and skills. If there is a project component included in the application (see role qualifications below), it is required and must be submitted at the time of application to be considered for the position. Complete a Video Interview: Candidates selected to move forward will receive an email with a link to complete a video interview. Once the email is received, candidates will have two (2) days to complete this portion of the application. Interviews with our internal teams will be scheduled on a rolling basis. Applications will close at 5:00 PM EST on October 30, 2026.

Requirements

Strong organizational skills and comfort tracking multiple workstreams at once
Good communication skills and willingness to flag issues or ask questions
Eagerness to learn new technologies, testing processes, and project tools
Solid Google Workspace skills (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Curiosity and creativity in applying AI tools to everyday work

Nice To Haves

Experience at URBN retail store locations or other retailers (a plus, not required)

Responsibilities

Support active retail technology projects and pilot programs — helping track scope, timelines, and store-level feedback
Assist with QA/testing for retail-facing applications during development cycles
Help manage intake and organize incoming requests across the Retail Technology team's project queue
Maintain and update documentation, meeting notes, and knowledge base articles used by support and store teams
Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews) with app development teams
