About The Position

As an Overnight Retail Team Member at Maverik, you’ll help create an exceptional customer experience while keeping the store ready for the day ahead. You’ll stock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist customers, and prepare the store for the morning rush. The role provides opportunities to learn different parts of the business, build valuable skills, and contribute as part of the team.

The starting pay is $15.16–$17.16 per hour, with a $3.00 per hour shift differential for qualifying hours. To qualify for the shift differential, you must work at least five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. This is a part-time overnight opportunity.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• A Food Handler Permit is required if applicable to the store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Must be able to meet the stated physical requirements, including moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors with every customer.
• Transition between tasks, including engaging customers, stocking supplies, and maintaining appealing food displays.
• Adapt to changing situations and provide service in fast-paced circumstances.
• Stock shelves and help prepare the store for the morning rush.
• Maintain a clean and organized store.
• Assist customers.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
