About The Position

This position is responsible for sorting, hanging, and categorizing merchandise for grading and pricing. The team member will utilize a computer grading system to grade and price donated product to meet established daily production quotas. They will use pallet jacks, hand jacks, flat beds, or dollies to move product and ensure individual stations are working at maximum efficiency while following Kaizen processes. The role also includes performing necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the store and other requested duties.

Requirements

• Operate computerized pricing system.
• Make pricing decisions based on quality of product.
• Sort product based on quality, hang or pack produce for shipment to store location(s).
• After in-house training, successfully operate various types of equipment for material handling.
• Read, write, and possess basic math skills.
• Team player mentality with the ability to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals/quotas.
• Walking, stooping, standing, reaching 6 feet (or can with ladder), pulling, pushing, lifting 50 pounds on a consistent basis, some heavier lifting pulling and/or pushing required at times; Good physical stamina.
• Ability to work in a warehouse setting which includes noise, some extremes in temperature and dust.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and other team members.
• Must be able to work standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be sufficiently mobile to work entire facility.
• Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements.
• Pass a background check.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Pass a physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Ensures individual stations are working at maximum efficiency and that Kaizen processes are being followed.
• Performs all necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the store.
• Other duties as requested.
