About The Position

Original X Productions (OGX) is seeking Retail Team Members to assist with retail and photo operations at The FRIENDS™ Experience – NYC. This role also involves maintaining the cleanliness of the retail space. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has knowledge of guest support and interactions. This part-time position pays $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be able to remain in a stationary standing position more than 75% of the time
Must be able to move about inside the exhibit space
Must be able to commit to a minimum of three shifts, one of which must be on a weekend day
Constantly positions self to clean and maintain exhibit equipment
Frequently lifts and moves items / equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Able to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Exceptional communication skills
Organized and detail oriented
Ability to multitask
Cash handling
Reliable proactive team player
Knowledge of cash handling
Knowledge of guest services
Previous retail experience

Nice To Haves

High school diploma (or its equivalent) preferred

Responsibilities

Work with the Retail Lead to ensure that the area is clean
Maintain cleanliness of the retail area including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and removing trash
Have a “go beyond” mindset when helping guests.
Create a fun and welcoming environment for guests
Report needed repairs and maintenance
Cash out guests
Answer questions about retail items
Additional duties as assigned
