About The Position

America's Thrift Stores is hiring Retail Team Members! We’re looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Team members assist customers, operate registers, maintain merchandise displays, and help keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming. This role requires flexibility to work mid-shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Store hours are Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–9:00 PM, Friday–Saturday 8:00 AM–10:00 PM, and Sunday 10:00 AM–8:00 PM. Retail team members should be available to work approximately one hour before or after store hours to support opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a fast-paced environment
• Cash handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers
• Operate the register when needed
• Help keep our sales floor clean and attractive to our customers
• Share information about our charity partners and our mission with our customers
• Assist customers with questions and concerns
• Providing excellent customer service
• Assisting customers on the sales floor and at the register
• Maintaining clean, organized displays
• Supporting daily store operations
• Completing additional tasks as assigned by management
