You help reduce food waste and make a positive impact in the community by keeping our stores well-stocked, clean, and welcoming. Your work helps move overstock and closeout food efficiently, delivering value to families while contributing to a more sustainable food system.

Requirements

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in cooler temperatures
Ability to lift 10-40 pounds
Good listening and communication skills.
Motivation to achieve results and work well in a team.
Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Desire to work with customers regularly.
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in retail or a similar industry.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet physical demands such as standing, walking, and handling products.
The ability to work an entire shift, come to work on time, work overtime as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.

Manual cashier register experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver an excellent customer experience to encourage repeat business and satisfaction.
Greet and engage customers, assisting them in locating products and resolving issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for customers and coworkers.
Follow operational procedures, including accurate cash handling and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Stock shelves, ensure accurate pricing, and rotate products to maintain quality.
Receive and organize inventory, check in deliveries, and assist in unloading.
Provide training and support to team members.
Retrieve shopping carts and remove snow from sidewalks as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
