About The Position

This role is responsible for managing the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately, as well as answering telephones. The team member will provide excellent customer service by greeting customers promptly, assisting them with locating and selecting merchandise, and maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the sales floor. Responsibilities also include restocking merchandise, returning empty racks and carts, and performing other duties as requested. Open availability is preferred as the store operates 7 days a week.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team is required.
Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment (POS, credit card draft terminal, pricing system); meet quotas; make pricing decisions based on quality of product.
Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, pass background, drug screen and physical examination.

Nice To Haves

One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred.
Open availability of schedule preferred (Store open 7 days a week, 8 AM through 7 PM).

Responsibilities

Manage POS (Point-of-Sale) system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately; and answer telephones.
Provide excellent customer service (friendly, courteous, attentive), greeting customers within seconds of arrival; assist customers on sales floor to select and locate merchandise.
Assist with maintenance of hangers, and sizing of textiles on sales floor; return empty racks and carts to production area; and restock depleted merchandise.
Responsible for the overall appearance of the sales floor; performs all necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the store.
Other duties as requested.
