About The Position

This is a part-time Retail Team Member Sales position located in Keller, Texas. The role involves managing the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately, as well as answering telephones. A key aspect of the job is providing excellent customer service by greeting customers promptly, assisting them on the sales floor to find and select merchandise, and maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store. Responsibilities also include managing inventory on the sales floor, such as maintaining hangers, sizing textiles, returning empty racks and carts, and restocking merchandise. The store is open 7 days a week, and open availability of the schedule is preferred.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team is required.
• Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment (POS, credit card draft terminal, pricing system); meet quotas; make pricing decisions based on quality of product.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
• Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, pass background, drug screen and physical examination.

Nice To Haves

• One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage POS (Point-of-Sale) system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately; and answer telephones.
• Provide excellent customer service (friendly, courteous, attentive), greeting customers within seconds of arrival; assist customers on sales floor to select and locate merchandise.
• Assist with maintenance of hangers, and sizing of textiles on sales floor; return empty racks and carts to production area; and restock depleted merchandise.
• Responsible for the overall appearance of the sales floor; performs all necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the store.
• Other duties as requested.
