About The Position

We are currently hiring a Retail Team Leader. Previous experience taken into consideration, and advancement is available. Successful applicants will have some previous Retail/cash drawer experience and be comfortable talking with customers. Our store is open 7 days/week and the work shift will vary. Candidates must be able to work full-time and have a flexible schedule, including evenings, Fridays, and at least 1 weekend day: Saturday or Sunday. Requirements

Previous Retail/cash drawer experience
Comfortable talking with customers
Able to work full-time
Flexible schedule, including evenings, Fridays, and at least 1 weekend day: Saturday or Sunday.

Responsibilities

Greets customers on sales floor and assist customers with merchandise desired.
Provides technical advice whenever possible.
Displays merchandise, suggests selections that meet customer's needs, and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality and utility.
Maintains proper traffic flow of customers in the store.
Assists the Retail Supervisors and Manager with store operations.
Assigns duties to workers to maintain optimum productivity, and schedules break periods, work hours, and vacations.
Trains workers on store policies, department procedures, and job duties.
Recommends additions to or deletions of merchandise to be sold in department.
Assists sales workers in completing difficult sales.
Sells merchandise.
Assists with planning department layout, or merchandise, or advertising display.
Assists with store restocking.
Performs interviews with applicants
Writes and presents employee evaluations, counselings, annual reviews, etc.
Assists with customer complaints and difficult returns as needed.
Interacts and communicates with other department team leaders and supervisors, and attends department meetings as scheduled.
Responsible for assisting and working all areas of the Retail store as needed.
Responsible for all activity in the safe including charge orders, drops, bank deposits, etc.
Responsible for performing cashier audits daily.
Responsible for safety and security of Retail store.
Responsible for filling out all necessary paperwork and documents related to operation of the Retail store.
Process customer drop ships.
