About The Position

Purdys Chocolatier is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Team Lead to join their new shop in Halifax Shopping Centre. As a brand champion in a new market, you will play a key role in building awareness of Purdys and creating memorable customer experiences. Success in this role comes from the ability to connect with customers, drive sales, and work in a fast-paced retail team environment. The Team Lead reports to the Shop Management and works with them to ensure all functions relating to merchandising, customer service, and general shop operations are performed efficiently and to the policies and guidelines of the company. You will be guiding the staff, however, you will not be responsible for hiring or discipline. This is a permanent full-time position requiring open availability (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).

Requirements

Leadership experience in a fast-paced retail/hospitality industry
Self-motivated and driven for results
Enthusiastic about selling a quality product
Dedicated to providing a great customer experience
Energy, positivity, and a love for connecting with people
