About The Position

Mattel is seeking enthusiastic temporary team members to join their retail services team as Seasonal Team Associates. In this role, you will partner with a Mattel Retail Services Representative to grow Mattel’s presence at major retailers, working a minimum of 15 hours per week during the busy holiday season. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about merchandising, who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to drive results. This job can also serve as an entry point to future merchandising career opportunities with Mattel.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
  • Must have an up-to-date smartphone and/or computer with Chrome Browser for accessing time entry, email, and Workday.
  • A mobile phone is required for multi-factor authentication.
  • Must have access to reliable internet.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned store locations.
  • Reside within approximately 20 miles of the assigned territory/store cluster or be able to reliably service the assigned territory.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach.
  • Ability to walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to climb ladders up to 12’ tall.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to push/pull carts containing product - occasionally up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to operate power tools (screwdriver & drill).

Nice To Haves

  • Merchandising, retail, or customer service experience.
  • Preferred work hours are during the weekday during daytime hours; occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Mattel/Fisher-Price brands and products.
  • Collaborate with the lead Mattel Representative to secure prime product placements.
  • Partner with the lead Mattel Representative on monthly scheduling.
  • Unpack cases of various Mattel toys.
  • Merchandise and organize product on the sales floor.
  • Construct and deconstruct store fixtures, including shelving and racking.
  • Implement point of purchase materials.
  • Execute special projects as assigned, including store events.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as managing time entry, attending meetings and trainings, and checking email.
