About The Position

Mattel is seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Team Associates to partner with a Mattel Retail Services Representative to grow Mattel’s presence at major retailers. This role involves working a minimum of 15 hours per week during the busy holiday season. The ideal candidate is passionate about merchandising, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is driven to achieve results. This temporary position can serve as an entry point to future merchandising career opportunities with Mattel.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Must have access to reliable internet.
Must have reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned store locations.
Stand, bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach.
Walk for long periods of time.
Climb ladders up to 12’ tall.
Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally.
Push/pull carts containing product - occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Operate power tools (screwdriver & drill).

Preferred work hours are during the weekday during daytime hours; occasional weekends.
Preferred device requirement – Up to date smartphone and/or computer with Chrome Browser to access https://Mattel.okta.com for time worked entries, email and Workday. Other browsers (e.g. DuckDuckGo) are not supported.
A mobile phone is required for multi-factor authentication to receive SMS(text) or voice call.
Gas mileage reimbursement per company policy.
Reside within approximately 20 miles of the assigned territory/store cluster or otherwise able to reliably service the assigned territory.
Merchandising, retail or customer service experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ensure tasks are completed efficiently with a strong sense of urgency.
Represent the brand with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Bring a flexible, adaptable mindset and enjoy collaborating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn new skills with a safety-first mentality.
Tech-savvy (smartphone, apps).

Responsibilities

Act as a brand ambassador for Mattel/Fisher-Price brands and products.
Collaborate with the lead Mattel Representative to secure prime product placements.
Partner with the lead Mattel Representative on monthly scheduling.
Unpack cases of various Mattel toys.
Merchandise and organize product on the sales floor.
Construct and deconstruct store fixtures, including shelving and racking.
Implement point of purchase materials.
Execute special projects as assigned, including store events.
Perform administrative tasks such as managing time entry, attending meetings and trainings, and checking email.
