The Retail Support Specialist provides essential back-office and compliance support to teller and branch operations, ensuring that frontline staff can focus on delivering excellent customer service. This role assists with transaction research, account corrections, and administrative processes that enable branches to operate smoothly and efficiently. In addition, the Retail Support Specialist supports certain Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions under the guidance of the Director of Retail Support, including tasks related to the Customer Identification Program (CIP) and the preparation or review of Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs). By combining attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to compliance, the Retail Support Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining operational accuracy, reducing risk, and supporting the overall effectiveness of the bank’s retail network.
