About The Position

Work World is the largest specialty retailer of workwear and work boots in the Western U.S., operating 30+ stores under the Work World, Shoeteria, and Whistle Workwear brand names across California, Nevada, and Washington. The company, founded in 1990, sells boots, apparel, scrubs, and safety gear from top industry vendors. Work World is dedicated to customer service, valuing blue-collar workers as the backbone of communities, and upholding values of honesty, respect, and integrity. Shoeteria is currently expanding and is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to help lead its growth. The position involves working in a lean, close-knit team environment where each employee directly impacts the company's success. New hires will learn leadership, organizational development, sales and merchandising best practices, customer service techniques, adaptability in fast-paced situations, and how to build relationships with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

Excellent Customer Service
Excellent verbal communication skills
Basic math skills
High attention to detail
Demonstrated sales skills and experience
Ability to maintain a professional appearance
Must be able to climb a ladder
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must possess valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of retail customer service experience preferred
Sales and supervising experience is preferred
Bi-Lingual a plus

Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers
Assist customers with request in store and over the phone
Open and close the store
Direct workflow on the sales floor
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner
Always maintain store organization and cleanliness
Complete customers transactions at the cash register including taking payments, and issuing receipts
Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
