About The Position

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Retail Supervisor at Ballad Health - Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee. The supervisor ensures food is properly assembled and served, maintains sanitation and safety in service and utility areas, and supervises retail associates. The position is scheduled from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; days may vary, and rotating weekends and holidays are required. Open availability is preferred. The fixed pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Employment is contingent on clearing a criminal background check and drug screening after receiving an offer; nicotine testing is not required. Phone interviews will be conducted. Requirements

Previous food service experience is required.
Previous supervisory or lead experience is required.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper assembly and service of foods.
Maintain sanitation and safety in the department’s service and utility areas.
Supervise retail associates.
Handle cash properly and complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including weekly inventory, cash reports, and production records.
Respond to customer needs and requests and resolve customer concerns.
Assist with menu planning and ordering using appropriate company programs and initiatives.
Ensure the department is opened and closed according to departmental security policies.
Assist with associate selection and orientation, and oversee associate training.
Develop and post associates’ work schedules.
Ensure associates’ daily and weekly tasks are appropriately performed.
Evaluate, mentor, and discipline associates according to departmental policy.
Comply with federal, state, local, and health department regulations and help ensure compliance with company policies and practices for food safety, personal safety, and loss prevention.
Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving, assembling, and distributing food supplies.
Identify and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and applicable MSDS/SDS sheets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
