About The Position

The LEGO Group is seeking a Part-Time Retail Supervisor for their Danbury Fair (CT) location. This role involves assisting the Assistant Store Manager (ASM) and Store Manager (SM) in various operational and supervisory duties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth shift operations, maintaining store standards, and supporting the sales team. Requirements

  • Weekend availability is a necessity.
  • Must be able to participate in Child Safeguarding Background Screening if offered a position with high engagement with children.
  • Must be able to pass drug screening as part of the drug-free workplace policy.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the ASM and SM in maintaining holiday, attendance, and team scheduling.
  • Effectively supervises Sales Associates during the shift, dealing with potential issues appropriately and in line with LEGO policies and procedures, with ASM and SM support, providing timely coaching and feedback.
  • Completes orders for store and office supplies in line with guidelines and operating budgets.
  • Ensures money handling procedures are followed by all Sales Associates.
  • Ensures a well-organized stockroom is maintained at all times and that all available products are merchandised on the shop floor and loss prevention targets are achieved.
  • Assists the ASM and SM in achieving a high standard of merchandise presentation following store guidelines.
  • Receives and processes delivery of product and store materials.
