Join us and be part of a team that thrives on imagination and passion. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our retail team as a supervisor. As a key member of our management team, the Retail Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, delivering an exceptional guest experience (ART!), and driving sales performance. This position requires a candidate with strong leadership skills, a passion for retail excellence, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Requirements

Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial start-up environment, introducing new concepts and innovations.
Minimum 1 year experience in a retail leadership role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of fashion, festivals and lifestyle trends.
Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Familiarity with inventory management and visual merchandising principles.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during peak retail hours.
Experience in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
Ability to commute between office and venue(s).
Ability to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
Computer skills in Microsoft applications. (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
Calm and solutions-oriented in fast-paced or high-pressure environments
Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold.

Responsibilities

Lead by example and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding guest service
Conduct pre-shifts to communicate goals, updates, and performance expectations
Ensure a consistently high level of guest service that demonstrates ART! (AREA15's service standards)
Train and guide team members on daily operational tasks and standards
Collaborate with team to maintain visual brand standards, ensuring displays and product placements reflect AREA15's brand image and provide a best-in-class shopping experience
Encourage open communication channels for work-related discussions and constructive feedback
Foster an environment where team members uphold a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and respect
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate product availability and timely replenishment
Work closely with leadership team to align operational strategies with overall company goals
Provide regular updates on team performance, sales trends, and customer feedback
Always exhibit the best brand representation by adhering to, promoting the prescribed dress code, and grooming standards
Ensure that team members are aware of and consistently adhere to the brand's dress code, reflecting the premium image of the outlet
Onboard and train new team members
Adhere to department and company policies and procedures
Drive accountability while maintaining a collaborative, creative, and fast-paced team environment
Respond to time sensitive matters.
Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
