Retail Supervisor
About The Position
Work World is growing and is looking for a Retail Store Supervisor to join their team. This is a part-time position with a compensation of $17.00-$18.50 per hour (depending on experience). The supervisor will demonstrate knowledge of products and services, assist customers, open and close the store, direct workflow, maintain store organization and cleanliness, complete customer transactions, and manage inventory. The role offers opportunities for leadership and organizational development, sales and merchandising best practices, customer service techniques, and relationship building.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of retail customer service experience preferred
- Sales and supervising experience is preferred
- Willing to work nights and weekends
- Excellent Customer Service
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated sales skills and experience
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must possess a valid driver's license

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers
- Assist customers with requests in store and over the phone
- Open and close the store
- Direct workflow on the sales floor
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner
- Always maintain store organization and cleanliness
- Complete customers transactions at the cash register including taking payments, and issuing receipts
- Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
