Requirements

• Ability to use the cash register to complete sales.
• Ability to follow all company rules for handling money.
• Ability to follow all steps for opening, using, and closing the register.
• Ability to keep the register locked when not in use.
• Ability to greet every customer.
• Ability to help customers with questions.
• Ability to tell customers about sales or promotions.
• Ability to watch for shoplifting or damage in the store.
• Ability to let a manager know if you see anything suspicious.
• Ability to keep shelves neat and stocked.
• Ability to help with rotating items based on color or date.
• Ability to help with cleaning and other tasks around the store as assigned.
• Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to talk or hear.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally maneuver wheeled containers weighing up to 300 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions and provide customer service.
• Inspect and sort donations to determine merchandise outcome.
• Operate the cash register and handle money according to company rules.
• Open, use, and close the register, ensuring it is locked when not in use.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and inform them about sales or promotions.
• Monitor for shoplifting or damage and report suspicious activity to a manager.
• Keep shelves neat and stocked, and rotate items based on color or date.
• Assist with cleaning and other assigned tasks around the store.
• Load and unload the truck.
• Organize donated goods.
• Provide donation receipts.
• Perform custodial services for the premises.
