About The Position

This position provides for the general maintenance of the store, which includes all janitorial duties at the location. The position also responds to the donation door. The goal is to fulfill Goodwill’s mission statement of transforming lives and communities through the power of education, training, and employment.

Responsibilities

• Sort through donations and place into gender categories.
• Sort all goods brought to the goods area into categories: Household, Games, Toys, Holiday items, Miscellaneous.
• Hang clothing and textiles on racks and tag, if needed, with quantity, gender, and date.
• Price good items in two places.
• Salvage unusable donations and label as such “salvage”.
• Meet daily rack quotas.
• Separately price vintage and formal wear for the sales floor.
• Complete weekly production reports.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Adhere to all safety policies and report violations.
• Support the mission statement and activities of other departments.
• Follow all safety policies and fire prevention procedures.
• Adhere to all ethical standards and confidentiality of records.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of all employees.
• Support the accessibility of our services and facilities free of architectural, attitudinal, environmental, financial, communication, transportation, employment, and other barriers to persons with disabilities and barriers to employment.
• Provide support for helpers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
